Dubfreeze

 

Dubfreeze is on Sunday February 20th at Bingley Hall at the Stafford Showground. All the usual stuff going on: Show & Shine, traders, autojumble, tat for sale, over-priced food and charity auction.

Tickets are £10! (accompanied kids go free)

According to Google Maps it's just under 2 hours from Bicester or just over 2 hours from St Albans.

Saturday night camping is £5 per vehicle with showers and toilets on site. No pre-booking needed unless you want reserve a club camping plot.

Dub Aid

Dub Aid is a new show being held to raise funds for Help For Heroes. It's being held at Castle Combe race circuit (approx 90 mins from Bicester or 2 hrs from St Albans) on March 18th - 20th.

Details are still being finalised but there will be all the usual show things going on plus entertainment on the Friday and Saturday evenings culminating in a cruise to nearby Wootton Bassett on the Sunday.

Weekend tickets are £15 for one or £25 for 2 plus a £1 PayPal fee. Alternatively you can order 6 or more by post and avoid the fee. Day tickets are £5 each. Children under 16 go free. Order from the Dub Aid website.

Show & Shine entry is free to weekend ticket holders or £3 for day visitors.

Trade and Autojumble plots are free although a donation to the cause is appreciated.

Happy New Year

Instead of lying on the sofa moaning about the rubbish on telly, ginga and Howard dug out the F100 and headed for Stony Stratford for the 2nd Vintage Stony New Year's Day meet. With set aside parking in the town centre for Pre-War and Post-War classics it offers a nice destination for a cobweb blowing run. A little drizzle made the journey over a little 'entertaining' but that's what makes it fun!
