Lo 'E' Nuf: Keep Britain Tidy

A Brief History

Lo 'E' Nuf Vee Dub Club was formed in 1992 by a group of young Hertfordshire VW owners who wanted something different to the usual Old Buffer Owners' Club. There was a monthly meeting at the Red Lion pub in Hatfield and numbers quickly grew, peaking at over 200, and the club had a good stable of show cars and trophy winners.

After a few years the membership began to fall as people left the area or the VW scene and the club stopped having a formal membership. The remaining hardcore members still met regularly, they went to the shows and they carried on building and driving VWs, as well as the occasional Hot Rod and Custom.

And we're still doing it! We attend as many shows as modern life allows and are regulars in Santa Pod's club camping areas as well as still building/driving/storing (delete as appropiate) old Volkswagens.
