Welcome to the House Of Payne

Robin, Anna & the kids are joining the Lo 'E' Nuf migration to Bicester after spending the last few years way out West. Their move has seemed as long and as drawn out as ginga's was last year. However there is light at the end of the tunnel, they got the keys to their new house a couple of weeks ago. Slight snag - it was a repo and needed a little work before they could move in.

Most importantly, the Split fits in the garage!

Unfortunately the house had been decorated once in its life, quite badly. Plus a previous owner had been a DIY Terror so there are a few things that need re-doing. Mostly though, it's the colours and it's all in textured wallpaper.

Plan was to steam in and strip everything and see what was left.

Although this did throw up the odd worry

On the plus side it has a good sized garden, once it's been cut back, and I'm sure the girls will like their own little house.

Plan is to move in the day before Bug Jam!

A few spy pics of some of the struggle to be ready by Bug Jam...

Firstly, from Lo 'E' Nuf''s Hatfield heartland, is this Type25/T3/Vanagon/Wedgie/etc in for major surgery.

It's had an complete lower side panel removed to repair a deer dent. Luckily there was this to replace it, carefully removed from a donor vehicle.

A little work needed to finish it off. By the time this is posted it should be back from the paintshop and being re-fitted.

And to finish of, fresh from the polishing mop, are a set of these...

Meanwhile, closer to Bicester, is this Bay Window camper. Recently beaten down to the ground by Cris & Stu at the Birkshop it's now getting a set of rims and a forgiving coat of matt black.

Lo 'E' Nuf clothing

Taking orders for another batch of Lo 'E' Nuf clothing. Same as before, these have a large club logo on the back and your choice of name/nickname or small club logo on the left chest. Clothing and print are available in any colour.

Orders must be in by Tuesday June 30th to be ready for Bug Jam.

This weekend Outlaw Flat Four are racing at The Summer Nationals at Santa Pod

Also racing are Pro Mod, Fuel Altered, Super Modified, Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street, Super Pro ET, Pro ET, Sportsman ET, Junior Dragster, Street Eliminator, VWDRC Pro, VWDRC Sportsman, HKS Drag Series FWD, Comp Eliminator, Wildbunch Outlaw Anglia, VWDRC Pro and VWDRC Sportsman.

And there's proper nutter racing from Top Fuel Bike, Funny Bike, Pro Stock Bike, Competition Bike, Super Street Bike, 9.50 Bike, Super Twin Top Fuel, Super Twin Top Gas, Super Twin Modified, and Super Twin Street.

Tickets are £17/day, kids under 16 go free. Grandstand tickets are £5/day.

Bug Jam 23

Bug Jam is 17th-19th July at Santa Pod. All the usual cobblers: drag racing from Outlaw Flat Four plus runs from VWDRC, RWYB, Show n Shine, traders, bands, DJs, comedians, Monster Trucks, Bug Push...

Ticketmaster Tim has tickets available @ £35

and must be bought through Tim in order to receive Club Camping passes.

We also have Yanks Weekend at Shakespeare County Raceway where the Outlaw Flat Fours are racing.

Also racing are: Street Racer Series, Gasser Circus, replica Super Stock Shootout, old time nostalgia from the Wild Bunch, and the new 10.5 Muscle Car Power Tour.

Tickets are £15/day or £25/weekend (children under 16 are free)

Also on is the NSRA Billing Fun Run at Billing Aquadrome near Northampton.

Chiltern Hills Vintage Vehicle Rally

This Sunday at Aylesbury Rugby Club, which is on the B4544 between Aston Clinton and Weston Turville.

As well as all the old tin on display there's an Autojumble, Trade stands, Beer tent, helicopter rides, giant slide, quad bikes, fun house, fun fair, Fun Dog Show, Craft tent, ice cream, burgers and a Pig Roast.

Gates are open to the public from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Entry: Adults £5, OAPs £4, accompanied children are free.

Vehicles wishing to enter on the day are £10.
